hello xanga! long time, no chat.

Time is going by crazy fast.  Well, except for the time i spend doing homework Homework time usually feels like an eternity.  It's March. March 4 and i feel like i'm so far behind on everything! There is so much to be done and i'm pretty much barely making a dent in it. The only good thing is that i actually have a few ideas about where i want to be in the upcoming years and i have some new goals to try to accomplish.  Sadly it isn't even half the battle.  The real challenge is in actually following through  with your dreams and start turning them into actions.  But back to the time thing, its probably my greatest enemy.  So goal number one is to definitely start handing my time management much better.  In order to help out with that i've tried to add on some structured activities to hopefully encourage some sort of time frame into when things need to be done by. So for the very, very near future i'm looking forward to midterms being over with, spring break, sleeping in, and making an apron for sapna's birthday [ its been a few weeks since her birthday so i guess i should get on that ].  lalalala the fun thing about writing in blogs is that you can just ramble about anything and its okay because 1- no one is really going to read this 2- its just a blog so no one can write all over it with red ink 3- i'm skipping something but it's okay... i'm taking pretty much 3 writing classes this semester so writing for pleasure and not for a grade is pretty sweet. I remember writing in this everyday in high school about what i did, where i went, who i saw and on and on and on which pretty much consisted of hanging out with drumline people, going to school, or going to practice.  My life is so unstructured now! This year has been all about doing what i want, whenever i want, and with whoever i want. Sometimes i miss the structure. actually thats a lie. i LOVE my freedom! i love san diego and all it has done for me.  When i first came back from florida all i wanted to do was be at home.  sleep in my own bed, park in my own driveway, hang out with my cat who i actually really love, and just be in chino hills. i started to hate san deigo beacuse it kept me from home.  but now i've fallen back in love.  this city is so amazing.  especially downtown san diego.  i really hope that everything works out and i'll be able to live there next year :) I'm also starting to really enjoy my majors.  i love business! whether you want to admit it or not, money is what makes the world go round.  sometimes money is seen as being shady and turns people into dike ass bitch faces but all things have their good and bad.  money has the power to create change.   even bono knows that without his weathy friends giving some money nothing positive can happen in a complete way in areas that suffer from an aids epidemic and/or a lack of good food supply.  philosophy makes everything so clear.  while it takes a while to understand its depths, philosophy uses logic to derive all its conclusion which brings the clarity in understanding our crazy world. Philosophy and Business are pretty far apart on the spectrum but i love it.  At the end of the day i feel balanced and that's the goal.  As Sr. Seuss wisely put it "life's a great balancing act".  Hopefully my act keeps heading in that direction.  alright, i think i'm done.  i would scroll up and see where my point was supposed to go but i hear accounting homework calling my name. i love accounting. finanical statements are my bitch. so if you made it this far sorry for the lack of organization in my writing. i'm a mess.i know. have a great weekend and live it up :)

where are all the flower shops?

today is my mommy's birthday! i love birthdays! my birthday, my cat's birthday, jesus' birthday, your birthday, everyone's birthday :)  so whoever "invented" celebrating birthdays is my hero!

i wanted to take my mom some flowers for her birthday so i went through the canyon and over to brea [ where her office is]. i figured i would go to the shopping center nearby and pick up some flowers in a flower shop there. to my amazement there was no flower shop. no flower shop a mile down the road. no flower shop by the borders near the 57. no flower shop by the brea mall :( now, i'm sure there HAS to be a freaking flower shop SOMEWHERE in brea! there has to be. and i would think there would be some in the places i searched around for an hour. but no!  NO FLOWER SHOPS!!! so i went back down the canyon. i wasn't even in chino hills for 5 min before i came across a flower shop. and no, i didn't know it was there before today. i love chino hills. it has everything. my favorite memories, my heart, and flower shops :)
